Who is Inesa Woods and what is her mission?

Hello, and welcome!
My name is Inesa Woods, the founder of HoliSoul — a space dedicated to conscious living, healing through food, and holistic wellbeing.

My journey into this work started with my own health challenges, which became both my greatest struggle and my greatest teacher.

The Struggles

From a very young age, I faced numerous health challenges — chronic illnesses, inflammation, thyroid and hormonal imbalances, digestive problems, and heavy menstrual symptoms.

I also struggled with many outward symptoms and self-image challenges: persistent acne, hair loss, weight fluctuations, disordered eating patterns including bulimia, and a difficult relationship with my own appearance.

Alongside these physical and emotional struggles came burnout, emotional trauma, and deep depression.

Despite countless doctor visits, thousands of tests, and frequent hospital visits, I often left without real answers or guidance. I was told I was “healthy,” but deep down I knew I wasn’t.

Taking My Health Into My Own Hands

At one point, I realized I couldn’t wait for someone else to solve it. I had to take responsibility for my wellbeing.

I started searching for answers myself:

  • Reading books on health and wellness

  • Learning from herbalists and traditional healers

  • Exploring alternative medicine and natural remedies

This was the moment my healing truly began.

Food as My Foundation

My professional background has always been closely connected with food. For years, I worked in gastronomy and as a chef, where I not only developed culinary skills but also learned how to evaluate the quality of ingredients, respect flavors, and create truly nourishing meals.

This experience became a natural foundation for my current path in holistic health. Cooking taught me discipline, creativity, and the importance of real, high-quality food — lessons that now empower me to help others transform their diets and lifestyles in practical, sustainable ways.

My Studies and Practice

To deepen my knowledge, I studied at the School of Natural Medicine in the UK, completing the Healing Diets program.

During this journey, I realized just how profoundly food and daily choices influence our health. Through books, research, and practical training, I discovered:

  • how nutrition and hydration shape every aspect of wellbeing,

  • how coffee, teas, and herbs affect the body in different ways,

  • which plants and vegetables can actively support healing of specific conditions,

  • how certain combinations of ingredients can help cleanse and restore our organs,

  • and how a plant-based diet can significantly reduce inflammation and bring balance back to the body.

These studies also opened my eyes to the reality of the food industry — how products are grown, processed, and marketed — and how much of what we consume every day either nourishes or depletes us.

Beyond formal training, I embraced a holistic lifestyle: grounding in nature, mindfulness, meditation, conscious eating, and daily practices that nurture the body, mind, and spirit.

All of this helped me recover from chronic stress, hormonal challenges, disordered eating patterns, and unhealthy habits — gradually rebuilding resilience, vitality, and harmony in my life.

My Mission with HoliSoul

Through years of learning, experimenting, healing, and blending my professional experience with holistic studies, I came to a clear realization: this is my mission in this life.

At first, I shared my knowledge with close friends and family, guiding them toward healthier habits and conscious choices. Witnessing the positive changes in their lives made me understand that I am here to support people, to share what I’ve learned, and to help others find balance, vitality, and self-discovery through holistic practices.

This is how HoliSoul was born — a space for conscious living, healing through food, and reconnecting with ourselves.
